Our Story
Kalani and I knew each other since he was 14 and I was 17. We were seeing each other off and on since he was 15 or 16 till about when he was 17. We use to hang out in Waikiki with "his boys" the FAS boys...lol. But then as we got older we grew apart without even a goodbye. Our feelings were there for each other but it couldn't go no further than what it was. In 2002 or 3, as I was dropping off my niece in Waimanalo with my sister, I was hopping out of my car and this truck pulls up behind me and I hear "...hawaiian...". So I turned around and it was Kalani and my cousin Alvin who happened to be his good friend. Boy was I shocked as hell. I was shocked and really amazed that I was actually looking at "Kalani". Then when I went to greet him with a hug and a kiss I saw his body and it was even more shocking, cause the last time I saw him he was skinny with long hair. DANG! His body was HUGE!!!! He asked me how I was doing, what I was doing and where I live. I answered, "well, I'm married, I'm dropping off my niece, and I live up Ahuimanu Rd"... He was suprised and said, "Ha? I live there too! Even your cousin..." I laughed cause my cousin was in the passenger's seat and I didn't even greet him... so I went over and gave him a hug and a kiss... Then from there, Kalani never left my side.
